“Heartbreaker” (c.2020)

Inspired by artist-activists such as Betye-Saar, Laura Mulvey, and Judy Chicago "heartbreaker" represents the spirit of women's liberation and resistance against oppression. In addition to its commitment to women's liberation the artwork also stands as a unifying symbol of resistance for all oppressed.

You shouldn’t have to justify your work.
— Judy Chicago

“Humans” (c.2020)

Inspired by the work of Ana Mendieta Untitled, Head Series tells the story of humanity through its uncontrolled appetite and desire for conflict with one another. Each head represents a different disaster, from wars over oil and gold to the destruction of the forests and oceans. If human appetite is left uncontrolled it will lead to one outcome, oblivion.

The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.
— Carl Sagan, "Cosmos”, p.230
